RAYGUN: ANOTHER YEAR, ANOTHER LOGO

Last year, SMASH picked the 1989 Dodge Omni Turbo to be our logo. Over the last 365 days, though, we've kicked a lot more ass than usual and decided that we needed a logo that reflected that.

And what says "kicked a lot more ass than usual" than a futuristic weapon that can do anything from mow down Stormtroops cloned from Boba Fett to shoot a Commie's nuke out of the sky?

Nothing, that's what.

So we chose the RAYGUN as the new representation of SMASH and have rolled out our first 4 RAYGUN-related shirts for your enjoyment. So come by the store (in person or online) and grab some of these first-run shirts. But be careful to not melt your face off.

Yo, ReadyMade, Thanks for the shout out!

Our first national feature! And it’s well written and accurate! Today is our lucky day. This great spot in ReadyMade has launched us past Pioneer Hi-Bred’s latest soy bean seed to become the 14th most popular thing in Iowa.

After the mention, we decided to update out press section of the SMASH site. This should make it easier to cruise around our site and see what other people are saying about SMASH. thesmashsite.com/press

Justin talks about Kitchen Collage

This last year we put together a website for Kitchen Collage, our east village neighbor kitchen boutique. Their store totally rocks and their site doesn't look too bad either. Here is my suggestion. Go buy this two-pans set from All-Clad and watch your culinary skills get taken to the next level. It might also make a sick Mother's Day gift.
